The Shocking Truth Of The 3-Year-Old Boy Who Can't Stop Eating

A three-year-old boy, Miseal from Brazil, was born a healthy 2.9 Kg child, but every month since then, he has gained 3 kg, making him struggle to walk as he currently weighs 70 Kg.

Doctors believe that he may be suffering from Prader–Willi syndrome, a rare genetic condition characterized by a constant hunger and desire to eat.

He also suffers from an underactive thyroid - which can cause weight gain - and his parents say that medication prescribed to help in his treatment is not helping.

Symptoms of Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) may include a permanent feeling of hunger, which can easily lead to dangerous weight gain, reduced muscle tone and learning difficulties, and it may also display behavioral problems, such as temper tantrums or stubbornness.

No cure has yet been yet for PWS, which is not life threatening itself but people with the condition are at a much higher risk of developing obesity-related conditions that include heart failure.
