Thief calls police after discovering tapes he stole purporting scenes of child abuse
A thief called the police from a public pay phone and told them where to find three tapes after discovering that they depicted scenes of child abuse.

He had stolen the video tapes, the camera that was used to film the abused as well as other electrical equipment from the pedophile's home.

The suspect is a 64 year-old local youth football coach who has been arrested in southern Spain and who had reported the robbery but did not mention the tapes nor the camera.

The thief had left the tapes in an envelope, in which he included a note with the address of the robbed house and a short message.

According to the police who found more tapes in the man's home, young players were lured into watching pornography with him and then were sexually abused.

One of them may have been allegedly abused for 6 years.

Separately, in a similar case, a British man was jailed in 2009 for three and half years after the robbers who stole his laptop found child pornography on the machine and called the police.
