Assad: Russia has important role in restoring balance to international relations

Syrian President Bashar Assad said that Russia has an essential and vital role in today’s world, “since it has restored balance to the international relations after years of unipolar dominance.”

Assad expressed the Syrian people’s appreciation to the Russia’s support to Syria’s resistance.

During his meeting with a Russian parliamentary delegation, that included deputies from several parties, Assad noted that the United States and the Western countries do not seek real partnership, but satellite states subject to its dictates,” stressing that for that mean, they are attempting to destabilize the region.
