Afghan Police rescued a 15-year-old married teenager who was kept locked-up in a toilet for six months by her in-laws in northern Baghlan province.      
Pajhwok Afghan News quoted a police official as saying that the young Sara Gul was found locked-up in a toilet after her parents informed the police.        
Sara Gul was married Mohammad Azim, 30, for nine months. She was locked up when she refused to have sex with men brought home by her in-laws.       

Sara confessed that her husband used to beat her and deny her enough food. The police arrested Gul’s mother-in-law, but her husband managed to flee.       

According to a medical report, the girl is in a critical condition and might be transferred to Kabul for better treatment; she had her nails pulled out and there were burn signs on her body.
