Pope Francis predicts his own death, says has “2 or 3 years”
Pope Francis has publicly predicted the possibility of his own death, giving himself two or three years, The Guardian reported.

The pontiff did not rule out retirement before the fulfillment of his prediction, as his predecessor Benedict XVI did last year, if he felt he “could no longer perform his duties adequately, even if it does not appeal to some theologians”.

The Argentinian pope admitted he had "some nerve problems," which needed treatment.
"Must treat them well, these nerves, give them mate [an Argentinian stimulant tea] every day," he joked.

In an interview he had with reporters on the flight back to the Vatican from South Korea where he had embarked on a five day visit, he spoke of his global popularity saying that at first it had scared him, but now he finds that he is able to deal with it “more naturally”.

"I see it as the generosity of the people of God. I try to think of my sins, my mistakes, not to become proud. Because I know it will last only a short time. Two or three years and then I'll be off to the Father's house," he replied.
