Decline in number of civilian in Afghanistan

Special Representative for the UN in Afghanistan Jan Kubis announced on Wednesday that the number of civilians killed in Afghanistan has declined.

Kubis said that 579 people were killed and 1219 were wounded adding that the rebels are responsible for the death of the majority of the victims.
