Syrian rebels on Turkish border, a report
Citizens of Kherbet Al-Jawz watch their town from behind the Turkish border in sadness, knowing that the situation has deteriorated significantly since the past three month after fighting between Syrian forces and rebels escalated. Families have since fled their town, leaving their homes and possessions behind, taking refuge in Turkey amid hopes that the fighting would soon end.         

Clashes have intensified on the Turkish-Syrian border since Saturday evening, and threatens to spread to neighboring Turkish villages. This as rebels point the finger of blame towards Syrian forces.              

In the meantime, residents of Turkish villages alongside the border awake to the sound of bullets, gunfire and explosions – which has lead Turkish authorities to tighten security procedures in hopes of halting the spread of the violence on to its territories.
