Iraqi officials: Gunmen kill 5 people
Gunmen with silenced weapons killed five people in two attacks in Baghdad on Sunday, police said.    

In the first attack, gunmen in a moving vehicle opened fire on a police patrol in the capital's northeastern, predominantly Shiite neighborhood of Ur, police said. Two policemen were killed and a third was wounded in the early morning attack.     

Several hours later, gunmen killed three private security guards working at an amusement park in eastern Baghdad.     

Health officials confirmed the casualties. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to reporters.     

Security forces and government offices are top targets for insurgents seeking to undermine the Shiite-led Iraqi government.
