Israeli official said on Monday that a Palestinian was killed Monday morning by Israeli army fire west of the city of Nablus.
In their statement the officials added that the Palestinian male approached Israeli soldiers with an ax as they were attempting to get out of their military jeep which had overturned after a traffic accident in the northern West Bank.
An official in the Shin Bet Security Agency said that indicators of the incident show that this a terrorist attack. It is worth noting that 5 soldiers were injured in the accident, according to the Israeli military radio, three of which sustained moderate injuries.
