France is preparing for rise in temperatures

Vast areas in France are preparing for an exceptional rise in temperatures that could exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the coming days, particularly in the southeast of the country.

The French meteorological agency "Météo-France" has placed 19 regions on alert, spanning from the southwest to the northeast of the country, including the Alps, with an orange alert status.
