Six-year-old girl raped in India's New Delhi
                            
A 6-year-old girl has been found on Saturday sexually assaulted in a public toilet in New Delhi.     

Medical sources confirmed that the victim had suffered injuries in her private parts, which appear to have been inflicted with a sharp object.                            

Sources added that someone tried to slash her throat with a blade.                        

The survivor is undergoing treatment at a trauma center and is said that her condition is stable now.            
The police have detained few persons for questioning as the police commissioner at the city vowed to arrest the perpetrator.              

The girl's uncle said that she had headed to the public toilet for a bath, as usual. People later found her lying inside with injuries, he added.
