King Abdullah dismisses Chief of Air Staff

The official Saudi news agency reported on Friday that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz issued a royal order, discharging the Chief of Air Staff, Lt. General Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Ayish and referring him to retirement.

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz named General Fayadh bin Hamed al-Rowaili as the latter’s successor.
