Turkey investigates shooting near Israeli consulate in Istanbul

Turkey’s justice minister said on Tuesday that an investigation has been launched into a shooting incident near the Israeli consulate in Istanbul, adding that three public prosecutors have been assigned to the case.

In a separate development, sources said there are currently no Israeli diplomats in Turkey, either at the consulate in Istanbul or the embassy in Ankara.
