Syrian National Council calls for declaring Homs “a disaster area”
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights told AFP that severe clashes erupted in Bab Amro on Sunday night, killing and injuring dozens of people.

Activists told the observatory that four explosions rocked Maysaloun Street, in Lattakya.

The Syrian National Council called for the public knowledge of Homs as “a disaster area”

The Syrian National Council said in an statement: “For the 5th consecutive day, the Syrian regime imposed a brutal siege on the brave city of Homs, aiming to break the will of its residents, and to brutalize its steadfast people who have dared to reject the regime's authority and mandate, and insisted on demanding their legitimate rights for freedom and dignity.”
