This is an example of a family struck by extreme poverty, living out in the open across the streets and field of Zgharta, with the cemetery serving as their winter home. The last chapter of their suffering was represented by the pregnancy of the daughter Iman.
People have advised Iman to sell her unborn child, but she repeatedly expressed her rejection to such an idea.
Iman is not officially married, according to the residents, but was exploited by a criminal identified as A. A. from the norther city of Tripoli, who convinced her that he is her husband and forced her to sleep with other men.
