Brazilian tourist base jumps from Beirut hotel

A Brazilian tourist/daredevil performed in Lebanon a base jump from the balcony of the hotel where he was staying.

The tourist, Gustavo Areias is a professional athlete, who performs similar jumps everywhere he travels and publishes videos and photos of his adventures on his social media accounts.

A base jump is an extreme sport which consists of jumping from fixed objects and using a parachute to break the fall. It is usually done from places of high altitude such as bridges, high cliffs or towers, where the jumper is the only one responsible for his own safety.

Gustavo jumped from a hotel in Beirut and added Lebanon to the list of countries in which he had risked his life all in the line of base jumping.
