Earlier today, a post on Kafa 's Facebook page sparked outrage on social media platforms.

Even though we might be used to a nauseating level of racism in Lebanon, this has definitely taken the concept of modern slavery to a whole new level.

Your eyes do not lie... There's indeed a special offer on Ethiopian and Kenyan workers, and for 10 days only! Hurry up before they run out of people we can treat miserably.

Hold on! That's not even the worst part. Some people actually failed to see that there's something deeply disturbing and perverted about the "offer", but KAFA retaliated fast with an observation i will cherish till the end of days : " How about Lebanese women for sale? Indulge yourself".

Although i am happy to see a large number of people standing against such unfairness and discrimination, yet not all of us share and write for the right reasons. Truth be told, most of us do it because it's trending on social media but very few will actually take a stand, support with action or join marches against injustice. And that is the bitter truth about Lebanon.

That being said, i would like to end my short "rant of the day" with the wise words of Albert Camus : "Should I kill myself, or have a cup of coffee"?
