If you thought wedding season couldn’t possibly get worse, well you have another thing coming. Issam (Simi) Merheb, son of renowned Lebanese houwara singer Alain Merheb, has voiced our shared frustration with the rise of extravagant wedding celebrations.
In his short video emissions he calls velfies -a rising social media trend- he laments what he views as overindulgent weddings, stating “banks should now offer wedding loans to enable you to attend weddings so extravagant it hurts.”
We hear you Issam and very much agree with your message.
