Lebanese Youths Don Trash Bag Couture To Counter Miserable Living Conditions
As Lebanon continues to grapple with the waste management crisis and with the threat of water and airborne diseases now looming in the horizon, a group of youths have taken to comic relief to air their grievances.

Drawing inspiration from the Paris Chocolate Fashion Show, where models presented outfits made of sweet decadence, Lebanon's ComFu team tailored dresses out of -not surprisingly- garbage bags.

This stunt, they hope, will act as a slap in the face against all those who have "gotten used" to the situation.

"Our message is simple. We believe that the true invincible danger lies not only in the devastating garbage issue, but in the way people are getting used to it... We're hurt. We're sick. We're standing on the thin line between survival and despair. But we want to smile [sic]," says the team.

The video titled, Haute Zbouture Trashion Show [#NoTrendNoTrash] is a tragic comedy to say the least. Here's hoping the tragedy will soon end, making way for a happy ending to seal the series of unfortunate events that have taken the country hostage since the onset of the infamous waste management crisis.
