REPORT: Ethiopian woman dies of wounds sustained in Bir Hassan twin blasts

The Ethiopian woman who was injured in Bir Hassan twin blasts on Wednesday, succumbed to her wounds on Friday at Rafiq Hariri governmental hospital in Beirut, bringing the death toll of the terrorist attack to 11.

On Wednesday morning, two explosions rocked South Beirut's Bir Hassan region near the Iranian Cultural Center, across the Kuwaiti Embassy roundabout, killing at least ten and wounding 129 others. The explosions were caused by suicide bombers and explosive-laden vehicles.

The Abdullah Azzam Brigades claimed responsibility for the twin attack via their twitter account, a group affiliated with al-Qaeda and one that had previously attacked the area citing Hezbollah's interference in the Syrian crisis as the main reason, demanding the release of Muslim inmates from Lebanese prisons.
