Safadi: Employee and labor rights are non-negotiable

Minister of Finance, Mohammad Safadi, reassured employees and labor representatives coming to see him at the ministry early Saturday that their basic rights were inalienable and non- negotiable.

Safadi on the other hand, informed Contractual Teachers at Government-run Elementary schools that state responsibility lies in providing job-opportunities for all. Therefore, solutions were found for daily salaried workers at the EDL and other institutions in order to make way for addressing and resolving contractual teachers' problems and possibly meeting their claims in full.

Minister Safadi also met with municipal heads of Mina and Bihnin villages and also conferred with Tripoli and Northern dignitaries.
