Efforts of his wife set kidnapped Syrian businessman free

Syrian businessman Mohammad Ghayath Jaby was set free Sunday after being kidnapped in Lebanon, NNA reported from Baalbek.

Jaby was with his driver on Massnah highway two days ago when armed men cut-off the road for him and forced him out of his car, leaving his driver unharmed and free.

His wife reportedly negotiated with the kidnappers without alerting security apparatuses. She agreed to pay one million Syrian Liras in addition to giving up some of her jewelry in return for her husband's freedom.
