STL: Victims’ applications sent to Pre-Trial Judge

According to an STL press release on Friday, the Victims' Participation Unit (VPU) has transmitted 73 applications from individuals who claim to have suffered physical, material or mental harm as a result of the 14 February 2005 attack to the Pre-Trial Judge.

A decision on each application will be made in due course by the Pre-Trial Judge.

This process will allow those victims who are granted the right to participate an opportunity to take part in the trial and to be represented by counsel.

The transmission of the applications followed are view carried out by the VPU as required by the Tribunal's rules.
