Hariri denies that Saudi King granted him $1 billion credit

The information bureau of former PM Saad Hariri denied information spread by Al Akhbar daily on Monday in an article entitled “the King rescues Hariri: honored with $2 billion”. The bureau said that the article is filled with lies and fabrications against Hariri and Saudi Arabia.

The information bureau stressed that the article is ill-founded and false.

Al Akhbar reported on Monday that Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz granted former PM Saad Hariri a credit of 7 billion riyals, approximately $1 billion, in the name of Saudi Oger.
