Aoun to Siniora: Poems are useless in court; find better defense

Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun spoke out on Monday against Future Parliamentary bloc leader MP Fouad Siniora saying “We advise Siniora not to dive in old poem books because poems, no matter how eloquent they are, are useless before the investigative judge; what will be useful there are documents and how numerous they are!”

In his statement, Aoun called on Siniora “to invest his time searching for what could be used in his defense rather then getting distracted by empty words that will not provide him with any immunity before the court.”
