Landslide strikes neighborhood in Akkar, damages more than 30 houses
Landslide stroke an entire neighborhood in Bait Younes, Akkar, on Thursday after heavy storms raged across Lebanon.      

It was reported that the landslide damaged more than 30 houses in the area.       

The mayor Fawzi Mohammad al-Mahmoud urged the Higher Relief Committee to send experts in order to inspect the damage and compensate for the damage-inflicted residences.    

The mayor added that the majority of these houses have become inhabitable.
