Currency exchange fight turns deadly in Dekwaneh

A dispute erupted in Dekwaneh on Paul Karawan Street between A.I. Keyrouz who works at a currency exchange and O.N. Jadaoun, on Monday.

When weapons were drawn, Keyrouz’ father interfered and was injured. He was rushed to the Lebanese Canadian Hospital where he passed away due to a heart attack.

Investigations showed that the altercation arose from an exchange of robbery accusations by both men. Keyrouz and Jadaoun were arrested under a judicial order.
