Rai receives letter from Berri ahead of Deir-el-Salib visit

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai received on Monday a letter from Speaker Nabih Berri regarding the general situation in Lebanon and the region.

The letter was delivered by MP Michel Moussa who was accompanied by Secretary General of the Foreign Affairs Parliamentary Commission Bilal Sharara.

Meanwhile, Rai was briefed by Electrical and Water Resources general director Fady Komair on the implementation mechanism of the restoration of the St. Maroun Covent.

In addition, the patriarch will visit in the afternoon Deir-el-Salib, in Jal el-Dib, accompanied by PM Najib Mikati and Health Minsiter Ali Hassan Khalil.
