Mufti Qabbani postpones elections of Higher Sharia Council
Mufti of the Republic Mohammad Rashid Qabbani announced on Tuesday his acceptance of PM Najib Mikati’s initiative which calls for postponing the elections for the Higher Islamic Council, scheduled for April 22, now to be held two months later in order to carry out reforms.
