Iraq war toll reached 70,000 dead
The Iraqi government revealed that more than 70 000 were killed in Iraq between 2004 and 2011.

The numbers were the lowest among other reports on death toll rates released by other none governmental organizations and foreign governments.

The Iraqi government spokesperson Ali al-Dabagh said that this report was well prepared by the concerned governmental branches and departments especially the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the National Security Council.

Al-Dabagh added that the numbers revealed cover all casualties caused by terrorism, violence acts and military operations.
