REPORT: Minister Gebran Bassil assigned as FPM chief following agreement – sources

Sources told LBCI that following the agreement reached by the Free Patriotic Movement officials, Minister Gebran Bassil was assigned as head of the FPM, noting that the vice presidents will be appointed by MP Michel Aoun.

During an extraordinary meeting held by the FPM on Thursday, Aoun pointed out that “the agreement reached over the elections was based on the majority’s desire,” stressing that he encouraged it.
