Kenaan: Is it acceptable to reach the point of political extortion?

The Head of the Finance Parliamentary Committee MP Ibrahim Kenaan told reporters that in the past few days the public has been the target of deception.

During a press conference, Kenaan derided attempts “to determine what is constitutional and legal and what is not to the point of turning this misleading information into a point of view”.

Kenaan underscored the importance of engaging in political competition while respecting the law and the constitution.

The FPM MP stressed that several budgets were put forward after the constitutional deadline, wondering: “Is it acceptable that we reach the point of political extortion?”
