Who’s the Shabiha?: war of words between Jumblatt and Chokor

In response to Jumblatt’s remarks on Shabiha, former minister Fayez Chokor said that Jumblatt is nicknamed “the boss of Shabiha gangs” in Lebanon, adding that he is the first Shabiha responsible for Lebanon’s destruction.

“If I am being called a Shabiha because of my repetitive attempts to unite the Lebanese, then I am the first of the Shabihas”, Chokor sarcastically said,

“However I am not a Shabiha like Jumblatt, meaning the Shabiha of murder, theft and crimes”.

Chokr added “I do not steal from ministries, let Jumblatt tell us what his ministers did?”
