Rai leaves Beirut, heading to Cairo

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai left Beirut Saturday morning on a private jet headed to Cairo as part of a pastoral visit that will last until Wednesday. Rai is accompanied by Bishop Boulos Sayyah.

Tourism Minister Fadi Abboud representing President Michel Sleiman, the head of the General Maronite Council former Minister Wadih Khazen and a number of bishops were present at the airport to bid the patriarch farewell.
