Berri: We insist on benefiting from our oil wealth within the entire economic zone

Speaker Nabih Berri confirmed on Monday Lebanon’s insistence on benefiting from its oil wealth within its economic zone based on its right and need to invest this wealth in line with a timetable set by the Lebanese cabinet in this regard.

Berri’s remarks came during his meeting with Special Coordinator for Regional Affairs Frederic Hof.

Berri had earlier chaired a meeting of the Council Bureau in the presence of MPs Marwan Hamadeh, Michel Moussa, Ahmad Fatfat, Antoine Zahra, Serge Torsarkisian and the council’s secretary general Adnan Daher.
