REPORT: Lebanese people dance in the streets in New Year’s Eve celebrations

The security fears prevailing across the western countries did not prevent the Lebanese people from celebrating New Year’s Eve in several regions.

In this context, crowds filled the streets of Beirut, where loud music and dancing were the common denominator between all pubs and restaurants.

Meanwhile, celebratory gunfire was reported in several regions, despite warnings issued by the security forces against any form of violations.
