Aoun: They stone us but they will not get to us, we fly above their weapons

Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun said that the bloc will not back down on the $11 billion issue, asking how one can talk about the $8.9 trillion when the 2012 budget is not yet complete.         

Following his bloc’s weekly meeting, Aoun said that the Ministry of Economy is completely absent in the rotten foodstuffs issue, wondering what role this ministry can play.       

On the electricity-generating ships, Aoun said “we thought that we are done with the companies’ classification, but it seems that they are still doing it. This gives us a bad impression and we hope that it can be solved promptly; our patience has limits.”        

On the Takfirist network, Aoun wondered “what is the relation between those who are attacking the LAF and the Takfirist cell?” He said that these people felt responsible, or else they would’ve waited for investigations.         

To those who are accusing the bloc of being corrupt, Aoun said “they stone us but they will never get to us. We do not feel them for we are flying above their weapons; our record is transparent and accusations are a preventive war.
