REPORT: Russia's Lavrov says US considering Russian proposal on Syria - RIA

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday Russia had proposed a "concrete" plan to resolve the Syria crisis to the United States, RIA news agency reported.

Lavrov said Washington was studying the proposal.

For his part, US Secretary of State John Kerry said that the Russian activities in Syria are making it difficult to hold peace talks on ending the Syrian conflict, calling on Moscow to join efforts to bring about an immediate ceasefire.

"Russia's activities from Aleppo and in the region are making it much more difficult to be able to come to the table and be able to have a serious conversation," Kerry told reporters.
