LBCI reveals a call between Mikati, Safadi
LBCI learned on Monday from sources close to PM Najib Mikati that differences over the issue of leasing power-generating ships will be under discussion until the next cabinet session, to be held on Wednesday.     

Taking the appropriate decision in this regard rests with the cabinet, the sources added.         

The sources confirmed that “all these differences are not politically motivated, rather, the prime minister has technical remarks on the issue”, denying any political escalation in this regard.  

LBCI also pointed out a call between Mikati and Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi, adding that Mikati will receive Energy Minister Gebran Bassil at 5:00 p.m. to follow up on discussions of possible exits to the electricity issue.
