REPORT: Footage shows Hezbollah training Houthis in Yemen

The Yemeni government accused Hezbollah of being “directly involved” in the ongoing war between the Yemeni government and the Houthis, declaring its intention to present a complete file proving its claims to the United Nations Security Council and the Arab League and calling for taking the necessary measures against the party.

A government spokesperson Rajeh Badi told the Yemeni news agency revealed that “the government has many documents and physical evidence proving the involvement of individuals belonging to Hezbollah in the war waged by the Houthi militia on the Yemeni people.”

“The participation of the said party and its individuals exceeded the moral support, which was officially announced and has reached practical involvement on the ground, by providing training for fighting, battle planning and arranging infiltration operations into the Saudi territories,” the spokesperson added.

Badi pointed out that “Hezbollah’s intervention is considered a blatant interference in the internal affairs of an independent state,” adding that such hostilities against Arab coalition forces contribute to the aggravation of the crisis.
