A number of deputies representing Keserwan and Jbeil districts toured the region of Chouwan to promote the Jana Dam, the construction of which was halted by the Environment Ministry awaiting a study pertaining to its environmental effects.
This comes after many people raised their voice to object to the construction of the dam, claiming that it will destroy one of the most beautiful natures of Lebanon.
