On Wednesday March 30, 2016, the fuel prices in Lebanon registered further rise, where the price of 98 octanes gasoline increased 700 LBP, that of 95 octanes 600 LBP while that of fuel oil and diesel oil increased 300 LBP.
The table issued by caretaker Minister of Energy and Water Arthur Nazarian set the prices of hydrocarbon derivatives as follows:
- Gasoline 95 octane: 20,300 LBP
- Gasoline 98 octane: 20,900 LBP
- Fuel Oil: 11,100 LBP
- Diesel Oil: 11,400 LBP
