Churches and chapels rejoice on Palm Sunday
Lebanese Christians who follow the Gregorian Calendar celebrated today palm Sunday by going to church and taking part in the mass.

In this context, Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai celebrated Mass in Bkerke as he said in his sermon that leaders should exercise power with love and away from personal interests.

“Turkey separates between the religion and state so it could represent a model for the desired Arab Spring”, he added.

Pastor of Beirut and Byblos Diocese Bishop Salim Boustros celebrated the mass in St. John’s chapel on this joyful occasion where Jesus Christ entered into the temple. The mass was attended by a number of political figures and crowds of believers.

In the Lady of Al Bihar in Tyre, Bishop Shukrallah Nabil al-Hajj celebrated the holy mass in the participation of priests and believers. The church’s yards were crowded with children who were holding candles and olive branches to commemorate this happy occasion.
