REPORT: Mine Awareness Day: At least 37,000 LAF soldiers injured by landmines

The United Nations' International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action is observed on the 4th of April of each year.

This day aims at raising awareness about landmines and progress toward their eradication.

Despite all the awareness campaigns made by Lebanon’s civil societies, more than 37,000 LAF soldiers were injured by landmines.
