Two women, one toddler killed in car accident on Nahr Ibrahim highway

The state-run National News Agency reported on Wednesday that a two-month-old toddler along with his mother and another woman were killed on the Nahr Ibrahim highway after being hit by a car.

The agency added that the two women are Syrian nationals and are identified as: Manar Kanaser and Sahar Kanaser.

The three were hit by a woman driving a Kia who abandoned her car, stepped into an SUV, and fled the scene.

Security forces, the Civil Defense and the Red Cross rushed to the scene of the accident to deal with the situation.
