REPORT: Judge Hammoud grants permission to end Google Cash investigations

State Prosecutor Judge Samir Hammoud granted the Anti-Cybercrime Office permission to end the investigations on the Google Cash case.

“The investigations led to the arrest of two people and the taking of the employees' statements,” Hammoud said.

Criminal Investigations Department is still investigating into the illegal internet networks, in light of the investigations held by the Military Intelligence and the judge’s personal supervision.

On the upcoming procedures, the judge stated that a request will be submitted in a bid to prosecute the employees.
