Geagea: LF prepared a proposal to amend law No. 673 on narcotic drugs

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Tuesday that the municipal elections were held “against all odds and with the least damages possible.”

Geagea’s comments were made during a press conference whereby he saluted and congratulated the al-Qaa and Ras Baalbek over the electoral battles that they engaged in.

“I hope that al-Qaa Municipality will shoulder its responsibilities,” Geagea added.

He also hoped that the vote buying operations would end in the upcoming polls.

On another note, Geagea saluted all organizations that are fighting drugs, adding that the Lebanese government is negligent in this regard.

He also added that the Lebanese Forces prepared a proposed law to amend law NO. 673 on narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and precursors.
