Beauty overflows in Lebanon’s Jezzine, from its waterfalls to its green scenery off to its ancient old houses.
But its beauty doesn’t cover up for the vast needs and complexities its residents face on a daily basis, whether it’s the nonexistent universities, or only public hospital, to its unemployment issue that’s been forcing Jezzine’s youth to leave their town; seeking better living conditions elsewhere in Lebanon or around the world.
Between its competing candidate lists, Jezzine is to witness an electoral battle on Sunday, as its residents await the promised developmental projects.
