Resigned MP Fadel to LBCI: My resignation is an outcry for all MPs

Resigned MP Robert Fadel said on Wednesday that his submitted resignation is an outcry for the lawmakers to “wake up and to know that the northern city of Tripoli’s current situation is the result of the current officials’ acts.”

Fadel’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he noted that the accumulation of problems led to his resignation’s decision.

On Monday, Lawmaker Robert Fadel declared his resignation from parliament, objecting the results of Sunday's municipal polls in the northern city of Tripoli where no Christian candidates won seats on the municipal council.
