Two-day-old baby girl found outside a monastery in Jbeil
The state-run National News Agency reported on Monday that a newborn was found in a crib outside a monastery in Jbeil.
The two-day-old baby was found outside “The Sisters of Jesus Crucified monastery” in the town of Machhalan in Jbeil
Security forces rushed to the scene and opened an investigation to locate the parents of the baby.
Coroner Nader Al-Hajj said that the newborn was in good health and was given to the nuns of the monastery to take care of her.
